I’ve made a new desktop wallpaper for my 5920G. This wallpaper will match the custom wristpad that I made special for my 5920G. Check here if you want to see my previous wallpaper.

5920G Space Wallpaper

This time, the theme is “space”. I always like space theme wallpaper. So I try to make one simple but cool looking one, with my logo in it.

Anyway, if you like it, you can download it here for free! The resolution is 1280×800 pixel. Yup, it’s 5920G native resolution. If you want a bigger one or not widescreen size, just leave me a message. :)

I want to make my own 5920G, that means I need to change my 5920G appearance. In my previous posts, I’ve upgrade my 5920G RAM to 4GB and using a laptop skin with my own logo in there. Now, I’ve made my own wallpaper for my 5920G!

I’m using my own logo, dominated with black and some blue ornaments there. “Simple and Cool”, that’s more like it. Of course, I put my site URL there :p

I want to do something with my 5920G, to make it more personal, my own version of 5920G. I mean, yeah, all Acer laptops look similar. First of all, I’ve upgraded my 5920G RAM to 4GB, to make it faster than standard 5920G. That was not enough. So, after searching for awhile, I found a way to make my 5920G more unique and more trendy: using a laptop skin! Yes, a laptop skin! With this, my 5920G looks different. There’s more, I use my own logo in it! I use a glossy skin, but I think doff skin looks better. I will try the doff later on.

Here are some pictures, with and without blitz. You can see the differences. When I didn’t use the blitz, my laptop looked sooo glossy, like a mirror! But kinda blurred, I don’t know, kinda hard for me to took the image clearly. But with blitz, as you can see below, my laptops look so dirty, with fingerprints everywhere! But no worries, these dirts and fingerprints can be cleaned easily. Beside that, I surprised that it didn’t blurred at all.

Just upgrade my 5920G!

Now it has 4GB memory RAM installed, dual channel! Too bad that I use 32bit Windows Vista, so only 3GB detected. I wonder if I can do something about the missing 1GB… Does anyone know about this? I don’t want it wasted for nothing…

Aspire 5920G is my very first laptop, and of course this is my first user review. I’ve been using this laptop for just about 1 month. Sometimes I use it for playing game like Counter Strike: Source, but not often. I’m sorry if the image quality isn’t good (click the image for larger view) or my english is bad.
