 Harvest Moon DS: Island of Happines Another good game for NDS, and this is Harvest Moon! The USA version of the game was released at 26th August 2008. If you’re looking for the ROM, check romulation.net, your best bet for NDS Rom!
Anyway, what’s so different compared to other Harvest Moon games? I’ll just give a short review for this game because I haven’t play it long enough. Well, it’s for NDS, so we got 2 screens to see. Top screen is the map, where we can see all of our neighbours location. Pretty handy, for the first time I thought the icon in the map was showing their home, but I was wrong. You can track every person in the map. The touch screen of course is showing our character and we play most of time with this screen. We only can control the character with stylus and touch screen, no D-pad. Kinda annoying for me, but I get used to it anyway.
Now each crop has different quality. The higher the quality, we can get higher price. It depends on the weather and the maintenance. Pretty realistic I guess. Some people say that money is easier to get here. Yeah I think so, but in exchange there are more stuffs to buy, so it’s all the same.
The animals? Pretty much the same I guess. The storyline? This is a new story, not another boy/girl who get the farm from his/her grandfather or whatever. The character (we can chose boy/girl in the beginning of the game) got an accident and ended up in deserted island. In the beginning there were only few people there, and more people will join the fun eventually, one by one. That’s include the bachelors/bachelorettes that we can marry.

And finally… for you cheaters, ehm, that’s including me of course, I got a good site that have codes for this game. Use it with your own risk. Using cheat will ruin the fun of the game. Have a nice play.

I’ve made a new desktop wallpaper for my 5920G. This wallpaper will match the custom wristpad that I made special for my 5920G. Check here if you want to see my previous wallpaper.
This time, the theme is “space”. I always like space theme wallpaper. So I try to make one simple but cool looking one, with my logo in it.

Baca: Maleakhi 3:1-10
“Yang satu (persepuluhan) harus dilakukan dan yang lain jangan diabaikan (Matius 23:23)”
Persepuluhan
Tentang persepuluhan, ada yang berkata, “Persepuluhan harus dikembalikan ke gereja lokal, kalau tidak, berarti kita merampok milik Tuhan”. Sebaliknya, ada pula yang berkata, “Itu sistem di Perjanjian Lama. Bukankah kita hidup di zaman Perjanjian Baru, zaman anugerah, jadi yang penting kita memberi dengan rela dan sukacita.”
Begitulah, kita bisa terjebak dalam kebingungan bila mengubah, menambah, atau mengurangi ayat Alkitab semau kita menjadi “lebih indah dari warna aslinya”. Padahal, Maleakhi 3:10 dan Imamat 27:30 telah menuliskan persepuluhan ini dengan jelas. Tak ada kata tuduhan “merampok” atau “merampas”. Kita hanya menerima nasihat, “bawalah milik Tuhan”. Selanjutnya, persepuluhan tidak hanya disebut dalam Perjanjian Lama, tetapi juga dalam Perjanjian Baru. Yesus mengatakan, “Yang satu (persepuluhan) harus dilakukan dan yang lain jangan diabaikan” (Matius 23:23). Bahkan lebih jauh Perjanjian Baru juga menegaskan, bahwa tak hanya sepersepuluh, tetapi juga seluruh hidup kita adalah milik Tuhan, karena kita sudah ditebus dengan darah Yesus yang mahal (1 Petrus 1:18,19).
Perjanjian Lama maupun Perjanjian Baru berbicara sangat jelas mengenai persembahan. Yang penting; baik persepuluhan, persembahan iman dan syukur, atau apa pun namanya, harus diberikan bukan dengan duka atau terpaksa. Namun, dengan motivasi yang benar, bukan untuk pamer (Matius 6:3) dan dengan rela dan sukacita (2 Korintus 9:7). Dengan demikian, Allah pun berkenan atas setiap persembahan kita. Inilah prinsip yang utuh di dalam seluruh Alkitab.
